Paz Suay is a painter and graphic designer living and working in Nashville, TN.

She is originally from Valencia, Spain, where she grew up surrounded by art and design, and where she pursued studies in Architecture (ETSA, UPV, Spain), Fine Arts (BBAA, UMH, Spain), Graphic Design (SERVEF, Valencia, Spain), and Illustration (ESAT, Valencia, Spain).

She has exhibited her illustration and painting work in collective shows in Valencia, Spain, and Nashville, TN, and her designs have been published in several mediums internationally.

Her latter work as an art teacher at Valencia Montessori School, in Valencia, Spain, shaped the new direction of her art. Now, in addition to her figurative paintings, she explores abstraction as an expressive outlet of daily experiences and surrounding culture, by applying the elements and principles of art she taught to her young students. She creates big and small pieces on canvas and paper using several mediums such as pencil, acrylics, oils, and mixed media. She also enjoys brand identity design, art directing, and her daily studio practice.

She loves living in Inglewood with her husband, two sons, and dog Luna and driving around with her brand-new TN driver's license.
